I have a prodigious abscess from an ingrown hair under my arm. I'm guessing it will have to be lanced. I've never had anything lanced but I know they inject an anesthesia, right? How bad is the injection exceptionally in an already super painful area?
Never Ever lance it yourself, or Entertainment with it, it's a NO NO
any Abscess in the body Should be Drained, otherwise it mayy spread causing a lot of complication.
I went to the ER the this before Monday night for an abscess. The doctor sent me to a surgeon, which admitted me into the hospital to have the abscess lanced.
J is equity on the ball with everything I was going to say. So I won't repeat it.
But I will try and help with the added bit of your question.
DON'T pull the packing out now. It will have to stay in there until Monday.
You should in fact have a doctor follow this to make sure it's healing correctly.
i got an abscess lanced and it was drained. The gift-wrap immersed in was very small and they packed it once. The packing has been removed now and theres a tiny hole, they told me to just straight it twice a day and put some antibiotic cream and a bandage
You necessity to clean that wound with warm water and some soap, then pat dry before applying more ointment. This wound will heal from the arranged out and healing will not be affected by an ointment.
